Order support is available at sales@thestrengthyears.com.
Accepting these terms
By using this website, you agree to the provisions that apply to website use. If you place an order, you also agree to the provisions governing direct purchases. The terms presented to you at checkout form part of your contract with us.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to purchase directly from us.
The digital product
The Strong Table digital edition is offered primarily to customers in the United States as a one-time purchase of digital content. It is not a subscription, there are no recurring charges and no physical product will be shipped. The product description, included content, price, currency, compatibility and delivery method shown on the product and checkout pages form part of the contract.
The hardback is a separate product sold through Amazon.com. An Amazon purchase is governed by Amazon's price, delivery, cancellation and returns terms.
Price, sales tax and payment
The advertised price of The Strong Table digital edition is US$7.99. Any applicable state or local sales tax and the final amount payable will be shown before you place the order. Your billing address may be used to determine the correct tax jurisdiction and verify the payment. We will not add an undisclosed mandatory charge after the order is submitted.
Payment is processed by the payment provider displayed at checkout. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number. An order is accepted when payment is authorised and we send an order confirmation. If payment is declined, reversed or reasonably suspected to be unauthorised, we may withhold or suspend access.
Immediate digital delivery
Access instructions are sent to the email address used at checkout after successful payment. Supply begins when the access email is sent or the secure reader is made available to you, whichever occurs first. Please provide an accurate email address and check spam, junk and promotions folders.
The purchase is intended for immediate digital delivery. There is no general US federal three-day cooling-off period for a transaction completed entirely online. Any non-waivable cancellation or refund right provided by the law of your state remains unaffected.
Access and compatibility
The edition is provided through a secure online reader and any download option identified with the purchase. A current web browser, a compatible phone, tablet or computer, and an internet connection may be required. We may change the delivery platform, but will take reasonable steps to preserve access or provide an alternative access method.
You are responsible for keeping any access link or password confidential. Contact us if the link does not work or you believe access has been compromised.
Your licence
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and use the digital edition for non-commercial purposes. Copyright and all other intellectual-property rights remain with the rights holder.
You must not share access credentials, reproduce substantial parts of the book, upload it, distribute it, resell it, remove rights notices, or use it to create a competing product. Reasonable quotation for lawful review, criticism or another use permitted by law is not restricted.
Cancellations and refunds
Because the product is delivered digitally after payment, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds once access instructions have been issued, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
If the edition is faulty, materially incomplete, inaccessible or materially different from its description, contact us so we can restore or replace access. If we cannot resolve the problem within a reasonable time, we will provide an appropriate refund. We will also investigate duplicate or unauthorised charges. Nothing in this policy limits a non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable federal or state law.
To request help, email sales@thestrengthyears.com with your name, purchase email and order reference. Do not send card details or passwords.
Marketing communications
Purchasing the ebook does not require you to consent to marketing. Optional marketing consent must be given separately. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a marketing email. Transactional messages needed to confirm, deliver or support your purchase may still be sent.
Educational information and health
The book and website provide general educational information, not individual medical or nutritional advice. They do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Speak to an appropriately qualified health professional about symptoms, medicines, allergies, dietary restrictions or changes to your routine. See our health disclaimer.
Website use and third-party links
You may read, save and share links to website content for personal, non-commercial use. You must not scrape, republish, sell, alter, misuse or interfere with the website, or attempt to gain unauthorised access.
Links may take you to third-party websites. We do not control their content or availability. A contract for a third-party product is with the seller identified at that checkout.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights. We are not responsible for a failure caused by information you entered incorrectly, your device or internet connection, or circumstances outside our reasonable control, although we will take reasonable steps to help restore access.
If you use the product for business purposes, we are not liable for business losses, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss of data. The product is primarily offered to consumers for personal use.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we use personal information for checkout, payment, delivery, support and optional marketing.
Changes, governing law and complaints
The terms that apply to your purchase are those presented when you order. We may update these terms for future orders when the service or law changes.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales because the seller is incorporated there. If you are a US consumer, this choice does not deprive you of any non-waivable protection provided by applicable US federal or state law, or any court or dispute process that the law makes available to you.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint. You can also review the customer FAQ or email sales@thestrengthyears.com.
